Hardship Registration

MINEXCHANGE Hardship Member Registration

At SME, we understand that difficult times in the industry or within your organization can make travel to our event challenging. We have created a special registration to aid our talented industry professionals in attending MINEXCHANGE.

SME has created a one-time, complimentary hardship registration option for MINEXCHANGE available to SME Members only. This option is limited to 150 members and will be on a first come, first served basis. Qualified candidates are members who are unemployed or otherwise unable to pay full registration fees, and are not receiving any type of company reimbursement for meeting expenses. Authors and session chairs are given preference. Hardship registrations are not valid for Student Member, One-Day or Exhibit Hall only registrations.

Members must submit a request in writing disclosing the circumstances for the hardship request no later than January 19, 2023 to be considered. Please submit an email request to meetings@smenet.org.

If approved for a complimentary registration you will receive an email with a promo code and additional details on how to complete your hardship registration. Please note the SME Hardship registration does not include hotel fees, division lunches and or any additional ticketed items.
